Day 8: Burlington, Colorado

Well, I am finally sort of back to civilization. haha, tonight we are finally staying in a hotel. I hadn't watched television or anything for like three weeks. Today, instead of shooting back home, dad decided to go through Estes Park. At the park we went up on that Continental Divide for the second time and got some awesome pictures. We also got to see like 6 moose. That was pretty amazing because we hadn't seen any moose the whole trip, and we were about to not go through that park. We also got snowed on today; sweet. lol, of course I am speaking more broken English. sorry! Final count of all the good pictures: 998! This is a crazy amount of pictures and this is not even counting what all I took. For every great frame there are probably on average about three more of it. My parents don't understand why I take so many. The reason I take so many is because I'll have plenty to choose from. It basically ensures me that I am going to get a great shot. Anyways, here are the pictures. The snow was way deeper than this, but this is me on Mount Washburn in Yellowstone Park. It was rather chilly there, haha.

This picture was taken on Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone NP and I thought it was awesome. I got a whole lot more pictures like this. They make really good screen savers I might add except this one because it is a portrait!

The famous falls at Yellowstone, one of my favorite pictures.Me at Old Faithful for the second time. Old Faithful never seems to fail, but it does seem that she has weakened in 6 years.

The Tetons and snake river. Awesome park!I think this one is the largest mountain in Teton NP.Me on top of the world! This picture was rather dangerous in that area because it was definitely the highest point at around 13000 and it was lightening. The grey on the mountains behind me is snow. Yeah, it was rather cold. It was 30 something, but in the valley it was like 75. Crazy! Some moose that we found coming down out of Estes Park. I think we saw like 6 total. Most of them had young babies. The one behind the one at the creek is a younger moose of the one at the creek. After Estes Park we drove through Winter Park and now we are staying in Burlington, Colorado. Anyways, I won't be home till Monday evening. Dennis, if you are reading this I will be at work Tuesday morning bright and early. I really hope it doesn't storm that bad tomorrow. The weather channel is predicting a lot of activity for tomorrow across the nation. Anyways, I hope you like the pictures. I know it is rather windy here. We are staying pretty close to Kansas, ... I think. haha
